Description:
Soccer is fun. So is competing against your coaches. Running laps is not much fun, not even for your coaches. Ever wanted to make your coach run laps and not have to do it yourself?
Here's your chance!
What:
- Any day that you perform at least 20 min of aerobic exercise you can log that as an event (excluding the days we have practice or a game).
- Your points go on a board that keeps anonymous score (nobody sees who you are, but you see your rank).
- Each Sunday your coach runs one full lap around the field before practice for every day every player logs an activity. There are 17 players. With up to 4 days per week that could be 68 laps (about 13mi)!
- BUT coaches log activities too! For every activity they log the total goes down by one lap.
Definition of Aerobic Exercise (for this challenge)
You are breathing hard because you are moving a lot and your heart rate is up. This can be playing basketball, lacrosse, soccer, hockey, swimming, running, biking, roller blading, ripstiking and more. High heart rate and heavy breathing for 20min or longer. It does not include walking, leisurely rides on a bike, fishing, lifting weights (unless it is a cardio weight routine).
