Move!To earn a point, you must engage in sustained physical activity for a minimum of 30 minutes.
This includes (but isn’t limited to):
Walking
Running
Pilates
Swimming
Dancing
Group fitness class
Cycling
Weight lifting
Playing sport
Yoga
Hiking
Boxing
It’s best if you get a bit of a sweat going, but if not then kei te pai! The most important thing is that you move your body in a way that you enjoy.
Kai
Fuel! To earn a point, you must deliberately make a healthy choice regarding your kai.
This includes (but isn’t limited to):
Meatless meal/s (or day)
No (processed) sugar
Water/herbal tea instead of juice/soft drinks
Plant-based kai
Skip the alcohol
Chose whole foods (not processed)
Dairy-free
No takeaways
Get your 5+ a day
Increase water intake
Choose healthier fast food (subway, pita pit, sushi instead of kfc, maccas, carls junior)
Snack on fruit/veggies instead of lollies/chips
Eat a balanced meal (protein, complex carb, healthy fat)
Make a conscious effort to fuel your body (and mind) with good-quality kai!

Recover! To earn a point, you must partake in some form of self-care.
This includes (but isn’t limited to):
Meditation
Gratitude journalling
Reading (for pleasure)
Drawing/painting
Get some fresh air
Practice breath work
No social media
Journal
Random act of kindness
Skincare routine
Catch the sunrise
Go to bed early
Garden
Catch up with an old friend
Get your nails/hair done
Do a face mask
Change your sheets
Try something new
Get 8 hours of sleep
Learn a new skill
Set boundaries
Practice mindfulness
Ideally, the act you choose will be something you don’t currently do in your daily routine. The idea is to intentionally make time to practice a new form of self-care :)
