PHT Step Into August
Step Into August is a free 10-day step challenge designed to promote wellness by encouraging participants to be more physically active throughout their day.
The challenge will run from August 1st to August 10th
What is the challenge?
Participants will compete to get the most amount of steps in a 10-day period. The winner of the challenge will receive bragging rights.
NOTE: Participants are encouraged to complete at least 7,000- 8,000 steps per day to meet the CDC's recommendation of at least 150 minutes of moderate activity per week.
How do I get my steps in?
There are many ways to get steps in! The easiest one is to just start walking. You can also use the conversion chart provided to you, and convert activities like yoga, biking, and golf into steps. Get creative!
How do I submit my steps?
Manually record your number of daily steps on the ChallengeRunner website or on the ChallengeRunner smartphone app. We recommend that you record this once a day in the evenings. If you want to automatically track your steps, you can authorize a wearable tracking device.
